Well, we did it. We dragged ourselves out of bed at 5am, got driven to the meeting point in persistent rain only to be told that actually, due to all the hills it was going to be more like 26 miles. Ouch.

We went through every emotion possible. My darkest point was around 6 miles in wondering how on earth I could make myself go on for another 20 and by the 17 mile check in point our bodies were protesting at every step.

But! we did it. And it felt amazing. The thought of how much money we were raising for this amazing charity thanks to the generous donations of people like you kept us pushing on. Thank you.
