Freddie's Future is a Special Fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust raising vital funds for life-saving research into Ewing sarcoma.

Story

For many years I have wanted to challenge myself by competing in the ultimate challenge of the running calendar: The London Marathon, but I have never felt the motivation...until, that is, my friend's little boy had to face his ultimate challenge. Being diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2019, 8 year old Freddie Croft has had to endure a grueling 9 months of invasive and traumatic treatment which has seen Freddie hospitalised and bed ridden all too often; treatments that have not improved in many decades. I had found my motivation! If Freddie can endure, survive and rise to his challenges then so can I. I want to raise money for Freddie's Future - special fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust charity who have supported Freddie and his family so brilliantly, so they can support other families. I want to raise money to improve bone cancer treatment for children like Freddie and improve their future. And I want to face my own own personal challenge and compete and complete the London Marathon of 2022.
