Leeds Half Marathon 2018 · 13 May 2018 ·

Alopecia UK is a national charity providing support, community and education to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia. The charity relies on individual fundraisers and donors to continue its work. Alopecia UK receives no government or statutory funding.

Story

I'm running the Leeds half marathon on the 13th of May with my pal Zeph.  In aid of this, I have decided to raise money for Alopecia UK - a UK based charity providing much needed support to people with alopecia, helping them to cope with this auto immune condition which causes sporadic hair loss, through providing support groups and opportunities for people with alopecia to connect with each other.

My beautiful, inspiring friend Zoe Wright has struggled with Alopecia for years and recently took the brave step of shaving the remainder of her hair off.  She is now absolutely rocking her fresh new look and I'm really proud of her, which is why I'd like to raise some money for a charity which provides support for people like Zo in dealing with this huge change to their lives which is completely out of their control.  If you could spare a little donation for this great cause it would be greatly appreciated :)
