Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Having recently lost my Nan, I'm taking on a challenge to help raise money towards Parkinson's UK, a battle that she unfortunately lost, and too many others are suffering from. Parkinson's UK strive to provide better care and treatment to people suffering from this awful disease. They aim to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.

This isn't going to be an easy challenge for me, stepping out of my comfort zone and into more technical climbing, using crampons, ice axes and ropes. Camping in conditions that can reach -30 degrees C, while struggling with loss of oxygen from higher altitudes and pushing myself to reach the summit at 5642m. I'd be very grateful for all donations made to help me reach my goal!
