Abseiling the Forth Rail Bridge · 8 June 2014

The Scottish SPCA rescue, rehabilitate, release, and rehome Scotland's animals. We educate people about the welfare of animals in our mission to eradicate animal cruelty. We investigate abuse across Scotland and bring those who abuse animals to justice. We are Scotland’s animal champions.

Story

I am facing one of my fears by abseiling 165ft from the forth rail bridge for a brilliant cause. The Scottish Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) rescue very ill and neglected animals and make sure they are rehomed by a loving family who will look after them. They also prevent curelty to animals by educating people. They care very much about the welfare of animals. They rescue animals from being abused by their owners, being left to starve, being beaten to death and forced to breed until they no longer can. Lots of animals are still suffereing in Scotland and by providing money it will help this charity to investigate more cases of cruelty towards animals and prosecute the owners who are neglecting them. The animals are worth facing one of my fears for. I hope people care about the animals as much as I do and would like to donate some money towards the SSPCA. To donate money it is simple and easily done online on this page. Thank you very much to everyone who does! Remember a little goes a long way. <3
