After working for Family Action for over five years (!), and watching countless people run marathons for them, I think it’s about time I did it myself! The work they do  really does make a difference to families who are struggling, whether with mental health, caring for a loved one or living in poverty. I’ve been very lucky to have a strong supportive family around me,  but not everyone is so lucky.
