Leeds Children’s Hospital, one of the largest children’s hospitals in the country, aims high and delivers the best for children, young people and their families.

Story

Last November, at 6 weeks old, Blossom became severely ill with bronchiolitis. We were admitted to Leeds General Infirmary in an ambulance after suffering from breathing difficulties at home. After an 11 day stay in Peadeatric Intensive Care, she was moved to an acute ward for a further 5 days before thankfully being allowed home. During her stay, Blossom, experienced various challenges with her health and as a result, needed to receive the best care and treatment available. The ambulance crew,  A & E resus team and the PICU ward were unbelievable. They all saved Blossom’s life and worked so hard around the clock to ensure her safety. We were blown away by their efforts.

I am running for Leeds Peadeatric Intensive Care Unit specifically to continue to enable them to provide excellent care to other children. We will be forever thankful for the treatment Blossom received and it’s important to me to give a little something back. There’s no pressure to sponsor me and I have no suggested donation amount either. Please just give what you want, if you want. Many thanks.
