Story

When someone suggests signing up to something a year in the future, it never seems a big deal. Then the time comes to train and you realise what you're actually doing to yourself! 😁 I am going to be cycling for around 8 full hours on 12th May with Mandy and Ant McGreevy. Never done an event like this before, in fact I have been training on an old hybrid bike that's never been serviced, that only has 3 usable gears (6,12 and 18!) which has set me up quite well! Finally got my new bike 2 weeks before the event so training at every opportunity even in 82mph winds and rain when I get the chance!

I've never raised money for WWF before, but it's actually something I'm really passionate about, so please dig deep and sponsor what you can afford - it honestly doesn't matter how much but I have lots of lovely friends and added up it could be amazing!

"WWF is at the heart of global efforts to address the world’s most important environmental challenges: safeguarding the natural world, tackling climate change and enabling people to use only their fair share of natural resources.
