Event: BUPA Great Manchester Run 2012, on 20 May 2012
We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

On May 20th I will be running the The Bupa Great Manchester Run - a 10K race. I will be running to raise funds for the RNIB.

Many of you were ever so kind to donate to me last year when I did a 5K fun run. If possible, please consider donating again for this wonderful cause. I have been training weekly to try and make sure I do the RNIB and your donations justice.

Why I am running for the RNIB:

What would you do lose if you lost your sight?

Every day 100 people in the UK start losing their sight. RNIB are helping people who have lost their sight find their life again. But right now RNIB can only reach one in three of the people who need them.

This is something that can effect anybody. This is something those of us who aren't partially sighted or blind take for granted.

Imagine no longer being able to read, drive, leave the house alone, see the faces of your loved ones...

YOU COULD HELP ME MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

So please dig deep and donate now.

A little spare change can make a big change in someone else's life!

I will love you forever if you do, so that should be incentive enough frankly!
