Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  As many of you know my mum passed away with cancer, almost three years ago. During the last stages of her life she spent some considerable time at St Wilfrids Hospice in Eastbourne.  The treatment, support and care that was offered was second to none and there isn't anything they wouldn't do to help not just my mum but family members, such as myself that were struggling to comes to terms with the diagnosis and prognosis.  

So... When this amazing opportunity came about to help support this wonderful Independent Charity that is mostly funded through the support of the local community, I jumped at the chance to give something back.  Who wouldn't.  

Please help me to raise the money needed so that St Wilfrids can continue with their excellent service for all that need it. 

This will be a challenge... Trekking in the heat...over 4 days.... In the desert... No showers, proper loos, mobiles (no great loss), there will be sweat, creepy crawlies and tiredness.. but what I will have is great team support the opportunity to sleep under the stars and a great experience.   One I know that my mum would have been proud of.
