Liz & Greg Newton and Marijke & Jim Limberiou are competing in two long distance historic rallies for cars over 30 years old, the 2022 Historic Endurance Trial and the 2022 Perth-Sydney Marathon. Throughout these rallies they will be raising funds for the Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre (WAGEC).

2022 Historic Endurance Trial – The event is being conducted over 16 days between the 10th June 2022 and the 26th June 2022 over public and private roads across NSW, ACT and Qld. With around 80% of the 9,300 km route to be conducted on outback dirt roads the challenges will be significant with the longest day around 1100kms from Longreach to Lightening Ridge.

2022 Perth – Sydney Marathon – This event is being conducted over 10 days between the 27th October 2022 and the 6th November 2022 over public and private roads across WA, SA Vic and NSW. It will be a challenging event, closely following the route of the original 1968 London to Sydney Marathon. It is noted as an event not for the faint hearted which will test both crews and vehicles with 58 controls along the route.
