WaterAid Mountain Challenge 2016 · 11 June 2016 ·
Envireau Water is participating in 2 charity hikes this summer to raise money for WaterAid - an international charity that transforms lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. Furthermore, the amount raised for Wateraid will be MATCHED by Envireau Water for the Calvert Trust Exmoor - a charity that enables people with disabilities to benefit from outdoor activities in the countryside.
The first hike took place on the 11th June, when our North Office team successfully scaled England's third highest mountain - Helvellyn in the Lake District, taking in Striding Edge and Swirrel Edge.
The second hike will be on Saturday 9th July as part of WaterAid's Severn Trent Mountain Challenge. The Midlands Office team will be striding out through the Dark Peak area of the Derbyshire Peak District. The staff are being joined by Managing Director James Dodds' children - we're not sure he's told them yet, but he assures us they also want to make a difference.
