Ernie’s August Cycling Challenge, 28 July 2022
We provide palliative and end of life care to patients & families across West Cumbria

Story

Our son Ernie, aged 3 is going to attempt to cycle 31 miles during the 31 days in August.

After listening to a talk given by Marathon Man, Gary Mckee a few weeks ago at the St Bees Triers charity night, I was truly inspired by what he and his children have achieved over the years. A couple of days after this event, Ernie randomly said to me “Mammy I can cycle 30miles!” And I thought to myself yes son, yes you can! 🙌 🚴

Ernies Grandad Bomble is the current Seascale Golf Club captain raising money for this great local charity, so we’ve decided to join forces and support Hospice at Home West Cumbria as best we can. We are very grateful to everyone that helps us raise some money, because the local people need this support.  Every little helps!

Come on Ernie you can do this!!  🚴
