Having taken up cycling again, I am taking part in the London-Surrey 100 cycling event on 4th August 2013.The event is a 100 mile cycle ride, starting in the Olympic Park and ending on the Mall. It has to be completed in 9 hours, including stops.

My chosen charity is Help the Hospices. My family has been very lucky to have been had the use of the Hospice Movement once before. Palliative care is often seen as an afterthought and not enough people are lucky to receive it.

So please dig deep and donate now, making sure to tick the gift aid option if you are a UK taxpayer.
