Fundraising for Breast Cancer Care
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know, this time last year I had just finished treatment for breast cancer. Fast forward to now and I’m still finding my new normal and navigating the long-term side effects and lasting impact of my journey.
Breast Cancer Care have been there for me throughout that journey, in many ways from using their helpline to attending events. I was lucky enough to be chosen to be a model for their National Fashion Show event - so exciting and nerve wracking!! The others I’ll be joining are an inspirational bunch all who have had a diagnosis of breast cancer. They have seen me through some of my darkest times, and I’m so privileged to have the opportunity to give back to them.
Last year’s show was a fantastic event raising over £280,000 and this money made a vital difference to Breast Cancer Care. The reality is that there are more than half a million people in the UK today who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and every year another 60,000 hear the devastating news that they have the disease. Thanks to the generosity of people like you supporting The Show, Breast Cancer Care is here for every one of them, providing expert information and skilled emotional and practical support when it’s needed most.
Anything you can give will be so appreciated. If you can’t donate money, why not donate a prize to the raffle that will be drawn on the night of the show? Tickets are also on sale for The Show! Why not get glammed up and come along for a fun-filled evening?
