Evenlode & Wise - London to Paris in 24 hours

London to Paris in 24 hours · 25 May 2018
I've developed a love of cycling over the years, graduating from the BMX to the mountain to the road bike. I cycle to work, I cycled to university, I cycled around my home town. I've met friends and got fit (then unfit, then fit again) on two wheels. It's fair to say cycling has been an enabler in my life.
My colleague Callum put me on to World Bicycle Relief and their aims ring true - using bikes as an enabler for some of the world's most disadvantaged people. If I was aided in the UK by a bicycle, imagine what it could do for someone with no means of transportation at all. The difference between getting an education or not. The difference between eating or going hungry.
To help WBR in their worthy endeavour my teammates Callum McPherson from Evenlode Investment and Joe Cooper from Wise Investment will be taking on the challenge of riding from London to Paris in under 24 hours. We will be ably assisted by Wise's Jo Radcliffe, who has kindly and foolishly offered to be our support driver. Your job is to sponsor us for the 285km of riding plus ferry-induced seasickness we'll endure to get the job done.
Please give generously; one of the Buffalo bikes provided by World Bicycle Relief costs only £95, let's get as many as we can to the world's poorest.
