Furnley House Foundation is raising money for Falcon Support Services
Story
We're taking on the challenge of sleeping outside raise money for Falcon Support Services.
Falcon Support Services have been helping the homeless and those in need across Leicestershire find independence through housing and community support for 20 years. The charity was one of the finalists in the Charity of the Year category at the Leicestershire Community Championship Awards and they provide 97 supported and semi-independent -bed spaces preventing rough sleeping and enabling people to stabilise and plan for their future with an allocated support worker.
We’ll be experiencing the cold and fear of sleeping outside for just one night, but for around 227,000 people in the UK, it’s a daily reality. Even a small amount of money can go a long way.
