Story

We are taking on 2 extremely difficult challenges in Europe and the US.Starting on 10th September (World Suicide Prevention Day) in Northern Spain and cycling through France and Germany for 10 days, we then move on to Newark in the US starting on 24th September and finishing on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on 10th October (World Mental Health Day)

Having been a part of the John O'Groats to Lands End Support Crew providing Sports Massage/Therapy to every single rider on a daily basis, I understand the mental and physical pain the European and American challenges will exert on the riders.  Hopefully, by easing some of the aches and pains from their fatigued bodies they can fulfil their goal of reaching the end of the ride and raising a massive amount of money for the  ‘We Mind and Kelly Matters ‘ Charity.

Having also been a part of the JOGLE Support Crew I understand the importance of motivating the whole team.  These riders will face many personal, mental and physical hurdles along their journey to raise awareness of the importance of suicide prevention.  These rides will highlight the amazing work that the ‘We Mind and Kelly Matters' Charity does to support those in their time of need.

Unless you are affected or know someone struggling with Mental Health it’s difficult to understand. There is often still a stigma associated with it, leaving many to suffer in silence, our aim is to raise awareness and help to prevent suicide.
