Help Save Children in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is one of the worlds most densely populated countries. Roughly the size of Florida, it is home to over 160 million people, compared to Floridas 21 million.
Formerly East Pakistan, Bangladesh was formed in 1971 as a result of civil war, and it continues to experience political volatility, among other challenges. Despite progress, millions still live in poverty, climate change-related disasters pose a grave threat, and child mortality, malnutrition and marriage rates are among the worlds highest. Bangladeshs children deserve better.
Bangladesh also hosts the worlds largest refugee camp in Coxs Bazar, where hundreds of thousands of Rohingya children and families have fled to escape violence in Myanmar.
