I will be running a 5 k race on the 21st of August  2022 at   9 am on sunday in Roundhay  park. In memory of my big sister Leila  Asoko  who died of metastatic  breast  cancer  on 30th November  2021.

Leila was strong and stood up to cancer  in every  single  sense.She was always vocal about not  being  defined  by her illness. One of the things that kept her going was the charity climbing out. The charity  offers  activities for individuals  that are  going through life changing injuries  or illnesses  such as cancer. They  gave my sister something  to look forward to and a chance to be herself and to be around  people  that understood  what she was going through. 

I want  to do this 5k run in memory of my beautiful  and loving sister Leila. She was a devoted runner  and a gym goer and ran countless marathons  herself. I was privileged to get the chance  to go out on a few runs with her from time to time. 

This  run is for you  sis  and a well deserving  charity that was close to her heart Climbing Out.
