We’ve been providing in-depth, expert information and wide-ranging support for over 35 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma. Our work drives improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of lymphoma.

Story

Earlier this year, my brother Ryan was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and after a long and tough 6 months of chemotherapy, he is now recovering well and on the mend.

His diagnosis and treatment wouldn’t be possible without the research and support given by so many different charities out there. I have decided to raise money for Lymphoma Action which is the UK’s only charity dedicated to Lymphoma.

My end of chemo gift to Ryan was our sign up to walk the Hebridean way which I am not sure he will thank me for! At the end of April I will walk 156 miles (252km) through 10 islands in the Outer Hebrides, cross 6 causeways and 4 ferry journeys throughout with Ryan joining me mid-way. Most people do it in 14 days but we are aiming to do it in 8-10 days with a few 20 miles + days! It is certainly going to be a challenge but for a fantastic cause which will be hugely rewarding.

Lymphoma Action are there to support anyone affected and as a bystander to Ryan’s cancer, they have really helped me. This is my thank you to them so they can continue their great work.
