On the 20th March I will be donating at least 12 inches of my hair to The Little Princess Trust. A charity that provides real hair wigs free of charge for children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment, alopecia and other illnesses.

It costs The Little Princess Trust between £350 - £500 to make each wig and they have never turned down a child (both boys and girls) needing help. I'm hoping to raise awareness for them so that they can continue to help and support children when they are going through this very traumatic experience in their lives.

Anyone who knows me well will know I'm very attached to my hair, in fact I love it! If I ever lost my hair I would be devastated. After I have had my hair cut it will hopefully be shoulder length, whilst some people consider this to still be a normal length this is the shortest my hair will have ever been. Every time I think about having so much cut off in one go it makes me panic, but I understand that a little girl who has lost her hair will be made very happy and will need it more than I do.
