In a fit of madness I was persuaded to sign up for the Great North swim and the Great Scottish Swim - I thought that some should gain from my pain so I am swimming for the North West Air Ambulance and Cancer Research. I promise to post photographic proof of me being there, taking part and having to endure the cold in a wet suit! (I always said you would never see me in UK waters in anything other than a dry suit!). Anything you can spare is very much appreciated.
