We support people with Spinal Cord Injury to help them live full, independent lives

Story

***ALL DONATIONS WILL BE MATCHED UP TP £600***

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 29th May, I will be riding the 100-mile RideLondon 2022 for Aspire, the spinal injury charity.

Why Aspire? Having sustained a broken spine from a traffic accident a little over six months ago, I was one of the fortunate ones to be put back together without lasting damage. Luckily I'm able to ride again and take part in RideLondon. However, many others are not so lucky. Every four hours, someone in the UK is left paralysed by a spinal cord injury.

How does Aspire help? Aspire offers support and advice, assistive equipment, housing solutions, training, and education for people with spinal cord injuries. For example, £25 will buy special grip cups and glasses for use in an Aspire House by someone with limited hand dexterity.

As an extra incentive, I will match all donations up to a total of £600. This means the more you give, the more I will match - so for every pound donated, the charity will get double!
