Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Gary and I are running the Bath Half Marathon in March in memory my lovely Dad who very sadly passed away in March last year.

We are raising money for the Great Western Air Ambulance as they are a great charity, who receive no day to day government funding.

When Dad suffered a cardiac arrest at home, the GWAA came out to him. Although we didn’t get the outcome we so desperately wanted, they gave Dad the best chance of survival. They got his heart going and were able to transfer him to the BRI. By doing this it meant that when Dad sadly passed away he was able to donate his liver and kidneys to give/improve the life to others.
