Great Ormond Street Hospital is the largest centre for child heart surgery in the UK and one of the largest centres for heart transplantation in the world. 

Doctors and Nurses every day battle the most complex illnesses to give a better future for seriously ill children.

In April 1929 J.M. Barrie donated the copyright license of his Peter Pan works to the hospital.

Diana, Princess of Wales served as president of the hospital from 1989 until the last day of her life.
