We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

Laura is a 33 year old primary school teacher living in London. She was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June 2016. She had a recurrence of the cancer 2 1/2 years later in the lead up to her wedding. She is now clear of cancer again and almost three years past the recurrence. During this time, she has a had a preventative mastectomy to deal with her increased breast cancer risk.  Together with her husband (also a cancer survivor), family and friends, we aim to raise awareness  about the BRCA 1 mutation and ovarian cancer through articles, pictures and anecdotes as well as raise money for the hospital she is being treated at.

About the charity

We raise money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
