Pieta House is a charity that is very close to my heart. I'm cycling 100k to raise money for Pieta House, a centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide. Please help me reach my goal by donating whatever you can.

According to the National Suicide Research Foundation Annual Report 2014 there were almost 11,126 cases involving 8,708 individuals presenting to services in 2014 due to self-harm. 487 people died by suicide in Ireland in 2013 and according to the CSO, there is a provisional figure of 451 deaths by suicide for 2015. I am passionate about promoting positive mental health and working to reduce the stigma around mental illness. Pieta House is a wonderful charity that works throughout the year to break down this stigma and help those who are suffering from suicidal or self-harm thoughts, and those bereaved by suicide.
