There is nothing quite as cruel as watching a loved one suffer - with any disease - but especially Dementia. Like many others, Dementia has affected my nearest and dearest and to have the opportunity to raise much needed funds is a blessing. I am definitely not a rower, but I'm going to give it my all and I'd be so grateful for your support.

Dementia Australia represents the 436,366 Australians living with dementia and the almost 1.5 million Australians involved in their care.
They advocate for the needs of people living with all types of dementia, and for their families and carers, and provide support services, education and information.
Colleagues from across all our international offices will take part in a rowing challenge (2,000m indoor rowing) and see how we compare against each other and the World Record times. We are rowing with the goal of raising money for Dementia Australia.
Dementia Australia is a member of Alzheimer's Disease International, the umbrella organisation of Dementia and Alzheimer's Associations around the world.
They advocate on the basis of evidence-based policy, promote awareness of dementia, administer national contracts with the Commonwealth Government and provide research grants to emerging researchers through the Dementia Australia Research Foundation.
Dementia Australia is a governing member of the National Aged Care Alliance and are involved in other key groups progressing the aged care reforms.
