Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the FB Dream Challenge Team raising money for The Martlets Hospice.
The Martlets do an incredible job, and helped my best friend, Holly, live life as fully as possible and with dignity until the end. Their care and support also extends to family and friends.
The positive impact their care had on all of us, her friends, parents, husband, and most of all her two daughters, Lucia and Cerys, helped ensure we all could move forward positively.
But it costs the hospice £10,000 per day to help just one person and it does not receive any financial assistance from the NHS.
You can help US to raise much needed funds for the hospice in one of several ways:
- Join one of our Dream Teams training for one of our Challenges during 2015-2016 and raise sponsorship, while you get fit and have fun too! Visit our Facebook page or see below for details of the DC list.
- If you already have your own events in which you are participating, you can still share our page to raise money for your own endeavours.
- Buy one of our special Dream Team t-shirts, the profits of every sale which will go directly to The Martlets Hospice (you can buy these from our website)
- Most of all, share this page on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media channel - the more people who know, the easier it will be to raise money and get others involved.
