Story

I am excited to announce Fitness Inspired Training's first charity event for this year. We will be joining the Box2Beat Cancer campaign to raise money for Ovarian Cancer action.

On Saturday 24th March FIT will be hosting a 3 hour "Boxathon" at Caterham High Sch. .

Box2Beat Cancer is a national fundraising campaign in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action, where Boxercise instructors organise a three-hour sponsored Boxercise class.

A woman in the UK dies from ovarian cancer every two hours. Our nation’s survival rates for this disease are the lowest in Europe and this needs to change.

With your support OvarianCancer Action will continue to find and fund the innovators who will break this cancer. From funding the scientists working on the latest breakthroughs in the lab, to the people raising awareness of the symptoms with GPs and the public.

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
