We are taking on the mighty Giant's Causeway Coast Sportive, cycling through an awe-inspiring landscape as a special memorial to our great friend Julie McKinstry-Harvey who loved the North Coast, alongside Julie's eldest daughter Suzanne who is taking on the challenge too.

Julie was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2017. A Mother of 3 wonderful girls, a loving wife to Richard, and the most fun-loving, kind, inspiring friend we could ever have wished for. She undertook intense and gruelling treatment at the Christie Hospital and we were hopeful she would pull through. The team at Christie's treated Julie with such care and thoughtfulness, she always felt they had a plan for her, the battle would continue and this gave her the will to keep going. However the disease had other ideas and on 24th February 2019 she was defeated.

The Christie Charity and Professor Jayson's Ovarian Cancer Fund is committed to raising funds for projects and initiatives to go above and beyond what the NHS provide, to give the best care and treatment possible to patients and their families. They conduct pioneering research and treatments to help get one step ahead of cancer. Everyone wants to see an end to cancer and we want to support The Christie Charity in their aim to deliver personalised medicine and outstanding care.
