Dan is running this year with his Support Worker Michelle to raise funds for the Epilepsy charity. It is for his Cousin Amy who has a very severe form of this dreadful disease. She 22 year old & lives with her Mum, Dad, older Sister and younger Brother. Amy was 11 years old when she was first diagnosed with Epilepsy & over the past 11 years her seizures have become much more aggressive and are severely challenging for her.

Amy has Refractory Epilepsy - this has changed her life in so many ways, though she does her very best to lead as normal a life as is possible for her. When going out and about she now has to use her wheelchair as she does not have any auras before her seizures & they can happen at anytime & without warning. She has on many occasions sustained serious injuries.

Amy has a full supportive network of family, friends & support workers to ensure she can live her life to the full & to the best of her ability.

Her Epilepsy is chronic and life long and the medication she takes is life saving.
