Roundabout is South Yorkshire’s youth homeless charity providing shelter, support and life skills to 16-25's who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Roundabout supports over 380 young people every day. We help break the cycle of homelessness and develop long term independent living skills.

Story

As most of you will know I am new to Sheffield.   For this reason I want to support a local charity, and this year Roundabout is the chosen charity of my new cycling club - Yorkshire Rose.

Roundabout is Sheffield's youth homeless charity. Every day, we provide shelter and support to over 150 young people in Sheffield who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. You donations will help provide a safe place for young people and help us to provide the support and life skills to help break the cycle of homelessness. Your support will go a long way to changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield. Our work is a lifeline for many and supports the young people we work with to prepare for a better future. From £5 which would buy bedding for a young person when they move into the hostel or their own flat to £5,000 which will house a young person for a full year – it all makes a difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.

Having somewhere we can call home is massively important to all of us and all donations will be hugely appreciated.   The trip is my holiday and I will be paying all my expenses myself so all the money will go to the charity with the exception of Just Giving's charges.
