This year I am Captain of North Cliff Golf Club, Scarborough and together with my wife Fran, one of our wishes during my Captaincy is to raise much needed  funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

Across the UK over 47,000 men are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer every year, meaning 1 in 8 men will get Prostate Cancer in their life time.

Fran and I together with members and guests of NCGC continue to raise funds through a variety of events and functions at the Club,  in addition our friend Neil Willson has also agreed to raise funds by riding in the Etape Caledonia, which is an 85 mile closed road cycling event with an approx. 6 hour 30 minute time limit. The event starts and finishes in Pitlochry, Scotland including the climb of Mt. Scheihallion (1083m).

Fran and I  together with all the riders are asking for your support by sponsoring them and raise much needed funding for what is a very worthy charitable cause.

Please also leave some kind words of encouragement as we are sure they will need it.........!!!
