I'm raising money for the Hospice in the Weald by taking part in the Tunbridge Wells Moonlight Catwalk on June 13th, along with Claire and Maddy.

The hospice supported both me and Martyn during his short battle with skin cancer and Martyn was at the hospice when he died on October 19th, 2012, aged 48. They continued to support me after his death.

I still feel a strong connection with the hospice which treats terminally ill patients with compassion and dignity. The walk is a good way of remembering how important this is and helping to raise funds to ensure that future patients have access to that care.

The 3 of us did the walk last year along with Miriam and David and are looking forward to doing it again (although would prefer it not to rain!).

I will be thinking of Martyn as I walk.
