Ware’s Cambridge? · 5 April 2021

Ongoing fundraising in support of the invaluable work of The Mental Health Foundation.

Story

I am taking part in the Ware’s Cambridge Sportive on the 5th April in aid of the Mental Health Foundation. The event consists of an 80 mile cycle through Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

1 in 4 people will be impacted by mental ill health in their lives. I will be qualifying as a Mental Health Nurse in a few months time so what better charity to do it for than the Mental Health Foundation, symbolised by the green ribbon which I will be wearing throughout the ride. Over the past 3 years I have had the privilege of working with some amazing people, caring for them and their families in a very difficult time of their lives. Mental Health Services are witnessing the impact of the pandemic on people’s mental health as we speak. So please give as much or as little as you can to this wonderful charity! I will be eternally grateful!
