Story

In August I will be running from Bournemouth to London. 118.7 miles across five days averaging to 23.75 miles a day.

Why?

In 2015 I passed selection for the Royal Marines. Before I could start training I cracked my foot playing hockey. I retook selection four months after my break and failed.

After visiting the Army, I was rejected, probably because I didn't have a degree or a pair of red trousers.

Now I work in an office in London, slowly getting more and more bored and more and more unhealthy. I miss nature, the mud and the clean air of the country side.

If I cannot have it in my life, then maybe, I can help animals have it in theirs.

The European Nature Trust supports the protection and restoration of Europe’s wilderness and wildlife. Please donate to them, and watch my feet bleed.
