At its heart, Pilgrims is dedicated to providing skilled and compassionate care, free of charge, to people living with an incurable illness in east Kent. Their vision is that people with a life-limiting illness are supported and empowered to live well in mind & body, making the most of the time they have. They care for over 2,500 patients a year, at their 3 inpatient units in Canterbury, Thanet & Ashford, their therapy centres, or in patients’ own homes. With 80% of their funding being voluntary contributions, your support cannot be overstated.
Both of us have an attachment to Pilgrims for the care and compassion they showed us and our whole family at the very difficult time of Dave's dad passing. Since then, we have tried to support them whenever and however we could. This time, we have chosen to combine our love for running with our desire to support this super worthy cause. We will be completing the Lakeland Ultra 55k in the Lake District on the 7th July and the Hootiful100 in Samphire Hoe on the 30th September. 

Knowing that we are doing it to raise needed fund for Pilgrims will definitely be on our minds in the middle of the night when everything hurts....and miles to go before we sleep 😊. We will be digging deep and hope you do too.
