Story

We are delighted to have partnered up with Trees for Cities, the only charity working on an international scale to create greener urban environments.

Trees for Cities began when a group of students in London decided they wanted to see more greenery in the city, so began throwing raves to raise money and plant trees! Since then, they have engaged over 70,000 people to plant over 650,000 urban trees in parks, streets, schools and housing estates across the UK, as well as internationally, revitalising these areas and improving the lives of the people who live in them.

80% of us now live in cities, but our urban green spaces are facing more and more threats from the climate, diseases and developers. This results in us losing our natural space at a time when it is most needed as issues such as warming, air pollution, flooding, biodiversity loss, obesity and psychological well-being continue to worsen.

Our staff and students are fundraising with Trees for Cities to plant more trees and continue to improve the quality of urban green space. We aim to difference to the environment and leave a lasting legacy of trees.
