Karen died suddenly at home at the end of May 2022. She will be sadly missed by so many people from so many walks of life. 

Over the last 20 years, she raised thousands of pounds for Marie Curie as a volunteer press officer, in memory of her mum Elsie Sands, who the Charity supported with end of life care.

It was her wish that, rather than flowers, she be remembered by donations to the charity she worked so hard to support. Let's ensure her wishes are fulfilled and that her legacy lives on in the work of the charity,
