GVI's Tour de Tulum

Tour de Tulum 4 · 17 March 2017
The Staff and Volunteers from GVI's base in Pez Maya will be taking part in a charitable fundraising event entitled the Tour de Tulum. For the fourth year in a row, this gritty, team building, and physically rewarding challenge will involve a bicycle race/scavenger hunt from base to the town of Tulum. All proceeds raised will be donated to Project Aware, one of our partner organizations. Project Aware works directly with marine conservation efforts around the world pertaining to sharks, rays, and various other forms of marine life, expanding upon environmental awareness through diver education. Specifically, the money we raise will go directly towards their campaigns for Dive Against Debris, Responsible Shark and Ray Tourism, and Project AWARE's 10 tips for divers to protect the ocean planet. These campaigns are ones we hold closely and dearly to our hearts, and we hope that those of you viewing this page will help this cause in whichever ways you can. Cheers.
