I am doing 10k Delamere Commando Trail challenge on 17th July . I would like to raise money for Chernobyl Children. I witnessed horrible disaster in Ukraine when I was 12 years old and remember the horror and fear of all people including me and my parents. On the 26ht of April 1986 Chernobyl was the scene of the world's worst nuclear disaster an explosion at a newly built nuclear power plant unleashed 200 times more radioactivity than the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombs and affected forever the lives of 7 million people. Thousands are born every year or go on to develop thyroid cancer, bone cancer and leukaemia. I am very grateful that UK is running this charity and helping lots of Children from Ukraine and Belarus. I would like to help to raise money for medicines, equipment, and help children to sick to travel by providing chemotherapy medicines to Children's Cancer Hospitals.
