Story
Back in 2010 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, in December 2020 I was discharged from The Royal Marsden. The care I have received, the check ups, scans and blood tests to ensure that my cancer wasn’t going to return has been second to none. Some of you may have noticed that my hair and beard have grown quite wild in the last couple of years, well this is why: in August after I have headbanged my way through Bloodstock I will be shaving it all off to raise money for the Marsden. So if you have any spare cash please consider donating it to this cause and help me see my face again!
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
