Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you will know, I had an accident 2 years ago which resulted in me being tetraplegic and single leg amputee. With many people's help and support I have made a great recovery and can finally walk short distances with crutches. The Tetra-Triathlon involves 10km on an exercise bike, a 400 metre walk and a 200 metre swim and I will be doing this on 19 October 2012 at Templemore Sports Complex Derry.

Now I'm asking all my family, friend's and generally sound people to support Spinal Research charity who fund many of the research labs seeking to find a cure for paralysis and other spinal injuries, please check out their website. Please donate, however small, donations can be made anonomously

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
