My dad Walter was  suddenly taken into the intensive care unit at Darlington and was given round the clock  treatment until he sadly passed away peacefully and with dignity .The staff were amazing in the way that they liaised with us all about his condition and then allowing us all to say our last goodbyes to him  The charity is for them to buy equipment like I pads etc for patients to listen to music and speak to loved ones  for possibly the last time.
