Peaches Womb Cancer Trust was founded in 2020 by a team of enthusiastic and dedicated researchers, doctors and nurses based at St. Mary’s Hospital in Manchester. Our aim is to preserve the health and improve the experience of those with or at risk of womb cancer and their families.

Story

I have taken part in Tough Mudder events before.  But this is a whole new level.....24 hours....5 mile laps.... plenty of obstacles.....as many laps as I can compete (You don’t know what the obstacles are until a few days before the event).

This year the event is in Alabama, USA. I'm funding my own trip so anything raised goes directly to Peaches and if be grateful if you could contribute even £1 to this great charity.

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust was established in September 2020 and is the first charity in the UK dedicated to womb cancer.

Womb cancer affects nearly 10,000 women every year in the UK and yet sadly, many have never heard of it.

In 2019 my Mam was diagnosed with womb cancer.  She had a radical hysterectomy and is thankfully now cancer free!!! But more research and awareness is required and for that charities like Peaches depend on donations.

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust aims to: raise awareness of womb cancer and its symptoms; support patients by providing information and hosting events and support groups; advocate for those affected by womb cancer on a national level; and promote and fund research into this disease, its diagnosis and treatment.
