The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.

This all started from a humorous comment I made one day when I was in my usual fence judging role at Lands Eventing. I have been riding for 13years but have never competed, hunting always being my thing. When the wonderful Tracie Lavelle not only offered to loan me a horse but also to join me in a pairs class to do an arena eventing competition at Dallas Burston I jumped at the chance. I then thought why not do it for Hannah & Willberry Wonder Pony as Hannah was such an inspiration to me when I was going through a difficult time & it is such a deserving charity. To say I am nervous about competing is an understatement but to go out & hopefully raise money for Willberry will be an honour & a privilege
