A charity football match will be played on the 4^th November in memory of Peter Burr who sadly died suddenly on the 1^st September.

Peter was well known locally and was a popular painter and decorator .The fundsraised at the match will go to LIVES. The match will be played at LincolnMoorlands Railway FC, the entry is free but donations are welcomed on the nightthere will also be a raffle .LIVES volunteers will help with fundraising on thenight.

LIVES Medics & FirstResponders are all volunteers who give up their time to respond to emergenciesin your area. When you dial 999 not only will an ambulance be mobilised, but atthe same time, the LIVES volunteers on call in your area will also receivenotification that you need their help.

GaryBurr organiser ‘’ Dad was a great man and was very popular in the local community;he would always be smiling and had a great sense of humour. He liked footballand loved nothing more than watching me and my friends play on a Saturdayafternoon .I wanted to organise a charity match because he loved football, thematch involves my friends that mostly played for Metheringham Wednesday. We willbe playing a friends team Dynamo Varsity All Stars .It’s great that we canraise money for a fantastic local charity and we hope that people will come andwatch on the night. I would like to thank Lincoln Moorlands Railway FC forhosting the match and Lincoln City FC and various local businesses for donatingraffle prizes‘’
