Story
I'm running in the 2019 London Marathon for PSPA as my Dad suffers from a debilitating degenerative condition called CBD. PSPA is a national charity providing support and information to people living with PSP and CBD, while funding research into treatments and ultimately a cure. They aim to improve the lives of everyone affected by PSP and CBD. They rely entirely on voluntary donations, and that's why they need your support.
Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) is a Degenerative Brain Disease for which there is currently no treatment or cure. My Dad has suffered with this terrible illness since he was 55 years old. CBD is a devastating life changing illness which affects every moment of sufferers lives. Doing the training for the Marathon is both physically & mentally challenging, when I’ve been struggling I’ve used my dad as an inspiration because the effort he & other sufferers have to put in every day just to do simple everyday tasks is immense and makes my training look like a walk in the park. My dad never moans or complains about his illness and just gets on with it. If you could sponsor me any amount no matter how small I would be very grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
